Everyone Loves A Parade

And since it was going right by our apartment, what's not to love? We TRIED to get on the roof, only to be shooed off by the security that the building management (wisely) brought in. But we were pretty close to the beginning of the parade, so it was only 6 or 7 deep where we were. I'm sure Sara will have a ton of her picture up here pretty soon.

It was pretty fun, if brief. 17 duck boats going by and we were maybe 15 feet away. It was actually hard to recognize some of them because it was so close, good idea with the helpful signs. Got really good views of Millar, Damon, Theo, Tek, Manny, the Pitching Staff and more. But the highlight was Manny's Sign saying something along the lines of "Jeter is playing golf today...this is MUCH better". This rivalry is NOT going to get any less bitter anytime soon.

We hopped back into the apartment to see the rest of it, the crowds were a multiple of 5 when they got down to Copley and then more when they made it to government center. And now that they're in the water, the first knucklehead has been spotted swimming out in the Charles to them.

We should do the every year!
