Days Spent With The Red Sox

So I was trying to figure out how much time I'd spent watching or listening to the Red Sox before they won the World Series. Using your friend and mine, Microsoft Excel, I put this together:

This is an overestimation of course and doesn't take into account playoff runs or strikes; there is little chance that I have spent over 2% of my life watching Red Sox baseball. I was really hurt by those damned years in North Carolina, what with no cable and all, not to mention my parents insistance on strict bed times in my earlier years. But once we moved back to New York and got cable I was back in the groove; then things really took off when I got to Babson in '93, even more so when I graduated and was living in Boston full-time.

But I am confident in my estimate that 8-9 days were spent in a seat at Fenway or Yankee stadium. Time well spent I say.
